Rugby League World Cup 2013 aiming for Wembley sell-out

Preparations for the Britain’s next international tournament, Rugby League World Cup 2013 have stepped up a gear this week.

Tournament organisers have appointed the highly-respected sports agency Capacity Consulting to promote one of the tournament’s flagship events: the semi-final double-header at Wembley Stadium on Saturday November 23 2013.

Rugby League World Cup 2013 Marketing Manager, Mark Foster said: “Capacity Consulting has an outstanding track record in marketing one-off events such as this and their appointment signals again our determination to make this the best Rugby League World Cup ever.

Capacity Consulting founder, Mark Evans, was the person behind the hugely successful ‘Big Game’ concept which introduced radical new pricing and marketing strategies into Rugby Union and helped break the world record attendance for a club game.

Mark Evans said: “A double-header at the iconic Wembley Stadium is certain to be one of the highlights of the tournament.

“Spectators will see four great sides and two big games for just one ticket, and we are delighted to be involved in such an exciting concept. With prices from just £20 for adults and £10 for concessions, this will be a world class event at an affordable price.

Tickets for the Wembley Stadium double-header and the rest of the 28-game tournament are on sale now and selling really well.

A special Early Bird offer is still open which gives exclusive access to the best tickets available, £5 off each purchased ticket for the Rugby League World Cup Final at Old Trafford – and a free RLWC2013 beanie.

Those without internet access can call the RLWC2013 Ticket Hotline on 0844 847 2013.
