DESIGN THE RUGBY LEAGUE WORLD CUP 2013 MASCOT

Rugby League fans in the UK will have a unique chance to become involved in the tournament by designing the official mascot for Rugby League World Cup 2013.

The lucky winner will see their design come to fruition and it will go on to be a key part of creating a fantastic atmosphere for the tournament.

The Rugby League World Cup 2013 will be hosted by England and Wales in October and November 2013. This is only the eighth time that any World Cup has been held in the UK and organisers want fans and young artists and designers to get involved in the mascot competition.

The application form can be downloaded below.

Entrants are encouraged to use as much detail as possible in their drawings and descriptions. The mascot can be a character, an animal, a superhero or even something more abstract.

Each RLWC2013 host will select a design to represent them and be put forward to the final round of judging. Each host winner will win four tickets to a game in their area.

The winning designer will also win four tickets to the Rugby League World Cup Final.
